David is presently caretaker of four Land Cruisers in various states of disrepair. He lives with his family in the Northern reaches of the Upstate, namely Asheville, North Carolina.
Marshall currently lives in Mauldin, SC with his wife and little girl. He is the Operations Manager for a wholesale distributor and bought his first Land Cruiser (1973 FJ40) in 1993 while in college. His current Land Cruisers are a 1976 FJ40 and a 1975 FJ55, both are currently in different stages of restoration.
Responsibilities:
Substitutes for the President
Assists the President with recruiting sponsorship
Supports other officials with high work load as needed
Steve joined UC in early 2007 just before he bought a 1976 FJ55 from another enthusiast in Michigan. 1200 miles later the Pig was back in SC and the restoration process has begun. Steve and his wife both enjoy club events and wheeling with Upstate Cruisers.
Rick lives in Atlanta, GA and is the Communications Manager for a mid-sized construction company in town. His first Toyota is the 2007 FJ Cruiser and along with his wife, Cat, has wheeled everything from Cullowhee to Moab. His silver bumperettes tell the tale of every trail.
Responsibilities:
In charge of event safety policies
Communicates policies and trail group strategy to participants at each event
Decides vehicle requirements for events and oversees vehicle inspections
Heather Royston lives in Norcross, Georgia with her family. She is an environmental consultant and has a degree in Botany. She is currently driving her 2007 FJ Cruiser and is restoring her 1973 FJ55.
John resides in NE Atlanta with wife and twin girls. They currently own an 80 and a 100 series Land Cruiser with funny L's on the fronts. John ran for position out of guilt of never giving to the club that has given so much. He designs respirators for Fire Fighters when he's not too busy dreaming about modifications to his cruiser.
Responsibilities:
Sits in on monthly conferences with all TLCA chapters and officers
Works with the TLCA to help promote our club
Promotes TLCA membership within the club
Provides feedback to the club about issues regarding TLCA
Gehn is a senior in mechanical engineering at Clemson University. He grew up riding in his mother's FJ60 and is currently restoring his own canadian spec '86 HJ60.
